- Owl and Blue Tit (or any another bird you can find) - buy online from Amazon for example
- Create a nest from real leaves and twigs and stick together with sellotape
- Torch for the sunshine
- Decorate two large feathers using smaller craft feathers to match the birds in the story
- Create a sun on one side of a circle and night on the other i.e. black paper and yellow stars
